University of Brighton - Mithras Halls

Updated: Oct 24, 2024

The Mithras Halls of Residence is one of the latest student housing developments on the Moulsecoomb campus, University of Brighton. The site, consisting of 5 towers, is closely located to the Moulsecoomb Campus which is home to a number of departments within the School of Environment and Technology, including civil engineering, construction, geology, and geography.

The Halls of Residence includes 5 towers which KaydeeSayfa was brought on to provide façade access and safety line for cleaning and maintenance purposes. Across the project KaydeeSayfa provided over 130 Abseil Bases & 11 Abseil Posts to allow for safe access to the building façades. To ensure safe movement around the roof, a network of Safety Line system allows the users to attach securely with a lanyard and move the roof safely.

Since finishing the installation in 2020 the KaydeeSayfa team have been back regularly to carry out testing on the equipment across the 5 towers.
